Photographer

Job Description:


The Photographer is responsible for taking high quality photographs of products with/without models. This position holder will report to the Production Manager and will work in close coordination with the stylist and the models, so as to efficiently execute the shooting operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for photographing sales event's in a fast-paced and high-volume production environment (36-48 looks per day, 5-6 days per week). 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute photo shoots as per the sales event's schedule and requirement laid out by the Production Manager

  • Deliver high quality photos and imagery (products on models/bare products)

  • Manage the team of photographers, models, stylists and make-up artists

  • Create daily, weekly shoot plans and execute the same

  • Prepare and manage the entire production budget – optimize the cost of production per item produced

  • Work and coordinate with internal departments – IT and sourcing to produce high quality catalogues

 

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years relevant experience in production of still portfolio

  • Love for fashion and strong project management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a successful team environment

  • Keen attention to detail and experience in a deadline-driven workplace

  • Well-informed and experienced in luxury and retail catalogue production



Customer Service Executive

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced customer service executive who has the technical and practical knowledge of customer service/relationship management process in a retail environment. The ideal candidate should be from a retail environment (online/superstore/discount), should be a proven self-starter who understands the nuances of customer service in a retail environment, for several fashion product categories (apparel, watches, eyewear, footwear, jewellery) The executive should have experience in multiple customer service support channels e.g. in-bound/outbound calling, e-mail, web chat etc. The customer service manager will collaborate with internal teams for a satisfactory user experience.

 Responsibilities:

Help customer service and retention function, handle customer queries, complaints, suggestions and requests on multiple support channels – e-mail, phone, web chat etc. Collect and collate customer feedback for inputting into further development of product and technology. Optimize the customer service function to provide best service at low cost (minimize the cost per service). Ability to provide feedback on website from the customer's point of view. Help the IT team on an on-going basis by making suggestions for enhancing the web shop, and IT middleware from a customer service perspective.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service/relationship management. Successful experience in customer service, in multi-product, multi-channel (inbound / outbound phone, e-mail, chat, etc.) retail environment.

  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication

  • Ambitious in nature

  • Love for fashion and lifestyle products

  • Strong understanding of customer psyche and issues in retail purchases and the ability to manage/reduce customer service costs

Retoucher
Job Description:


The Retoucher works within a team that produces all images used in a sale, including women and men's fashion, accessories, and jewellery. The successful candidate will work closely with their colleagues to produce, on average, five – six sales per week (approximately 150 images per day) in this deadline-driven and high-volume production environment. 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain production of a high volume of images under very tight deadlines

  • Partner with the shoot production and merchandising teams to ensure quality and fulfillment of each sale

  • Utilize appropriate digital asset management techniques, from receiving images from the studio up to when the sale goes live

  • Take creative direction from the stylist and apply it to the images in order to achieve the best possible result for the final web images

  • Communicate with other teams (merchandising, shooting) in order to proactively address discrepancies and solve issues

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in retouching in a high volume production environment, fashion industry experience preferred

  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Photoshop

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of retouching skin tone, body shape, clothing and product refinement, as well as ability to control color/contrast for the web

  • Ability to work very quickly without sacrificing overall image quality

  • Strong organizational skills are a must

  • To be considered - All applicants must present a portfolio of work that includes before/after retouching samples. Finalist candidates will be given a very thorough Photoshop test, where they will be judged on skill and speed

Stylist

Job Description:


The Stylist reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for styling photo shoots and dressing the models, as well as styling still life photo shoots. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a styling wardrobe, with proper accessories, which will complement the luxury brands offered. The Stylist would be working in a fast-paced and high-volume production environment (36-48 looks per day, 5-6 days per week). In addition to this, the Stylist will be expected to research collections to be photographed, and carry out a responsible communication with the team, so as to ensure that the styling is properly aligned with the brand's aesthetic. 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee all style-outs and 3-4 shoots per day

  • Establish how each collection should be styled

  • Prepare style highlights to share with the team

  • Create daily shortlists and communicate the shot order to the photographer (s)

  • Prepare clothes for shoot and take care of styling requests, as well as ensure that all styling pieces are available

  • Communicate with buyers about styling choices and requests

  • Review upcoming shoots with the Senior Art Director and/or Creative Director, ensuring that all relevant styling pieces will be made available

  • Prepare and manage the styling wardrobe budget

  • Blog outfit assembly for upcoming sales

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience, demonstrated by a strong portfolio

  • Bachelor's degree in fashion or a related field is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a successful team environment

  • Keen attention to detail and experience in a deadline-driven workplace

  • Well-informed about current brands as well as runway trends

Production Manager

Job Description:


The Production Manager is responsible for delivering the photo shoots. This will involve planning and executing the shootout of products with/without models. Buyer (1 Positions)

Responsibilities:

 

  • Selecting the right products from inventory offered to ensure fast sales

  • Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with brands

  • Liaising with suppliers and distributors

  • Maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data for categories

  • Working closely with brands staff and department heads to decide how products should be shot for display online as also for product descriptions

  • Forecasting optimum sales amongst categories

  • Planning sample collections from brands, shoot dates coordination and return of samples to brands

  • Controlling sample stock levels

  • Using specialist computer software, for example to handle sales statistics, produce sales projections and present spreadsheets and graphs

  • Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colours or styles), and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential

  • Monitoring slow sellers, and ensuring this data is communicated.

  • Analyzing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines

  • Keeping a track of current season movements in offline stores

  • Meeting with brands and managing the distribution of sample stock, by negotiating , ordering stock after sales event, agreeing timescales and delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork

  • Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise

  • Managing, training and supervising junior staff.

 

Requirements:

  • 3 – 7 years buying experience

  • Self-starter, ambitious in nature

  • Love for fashion and lifestyle product

  • Strong understanding of merchandising financials, retail math and the ability to manage profitability

  • Successful experience in buying, multi brand, multi vendor environment

  • Knowledge of Open-to-Buy process
