What is a tunic?

A tunic is basically a loose-fitting garment that fully covers the hip and bottom. It’s a versatile garment that can be worn in a variety of ways by all body types. The ancient Greeks and Romans were the were early fans of the tunic, and the loose-fitting garment remains popular in modern times. A tunic is a garment that is worn by both men and women. Over the years the likeness for tunics has been lessened by men and vice versa it has become a very popular style amongst women. 

They come in different sizes that look sort of a long loose-fitting shirt or short dress or sweater dress that reaches the knee. In online and stores it popularly labeled as a mini- dress. Tunics or a mini dress have now become a comfortable addition to many women's wardrobes. Some tunics are longer than many women's shirts but shorter than a dress. Tunic top can be worn with jeans/pants as well. It gives you a fun, modern and chicky look. The trick is to wear a tunic in a way that is most flattering for your body. For a fashionable summer look, you might pair trousers with a comfortable tunic that extends past your waist.

It is a common misconception that tunics are meant by young people and can be worn only for daily wears. But that’s just a myth, tunics are a versatile, comfortable and voguish style for all women of ages and can be easily worn for every occasion.
